  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (natural)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla until combined.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Divide dough in half and mix one half with peanut butter.
  7. Form small balls of each dough type and swirl them together on the baking sheets.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips over each mound.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are firm but centers remain soft. Cool before serving.
