  • 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or low-carb sweetener
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the cabbage, mincing the garlic and ginger, and slicing the green onions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Stir in chopped cabbage and cook until slightly softened but still crunchy (about 5 minutes).
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar or sweetener, and sesame oil. Pour over the beef-cabbage mixture and stir well.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
