- In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla until combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- In a small bowl, beat cream cheese with 2 tbsp sugar until smooth.
- Fold strawberries into the muffin batter.
- Fill muffin liners 2/3 full with batter and add a dollop of cream cheese mixture on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown; check doneness with a toothpick.
