  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  5. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if desired.
  6. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden but centers still soft. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
