  • 12 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with cornstarch.
  3. Coat each shrimp in flour, dip in egg wash, then coat with cornstarch.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering (around 350°F).
  5. Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oil and drizzle with hot honey while warm.
