  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark) (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
