  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and granulated sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in cocoa powder until combined.
  3. Gently fold in flour and salt until just mixed.
  4. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, dollop cheesecake mixture on top, then spread remaining brownie batter over it. Swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool before slicing.
